The companies of the Webasto Group (Webasto SE, Webasto Roof & Components SE as well as Webasto Thermo & Comfort SE and its affiliates) respect your privacy and take the protection of personal data very seriously. We want you to know when we store what data and how we use it. We have taken technical and organisational measures to ensure that data protection rules are respected. We process personal data exclusively in accordance with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and local data protection laws.

Keep track of your Webasto Charging Station, as you can access the current status of your charging stations, the entire charging history, your energy consumption and much more, anytime, anywhere. This is made possible by the practical solution Webasto ChargeConnect. Webasto's innovative in-house development is a user interface that you can use as an app with selected features or as a full desktop portal based on your needs. The data of your charging stations are reflected in the web portal and thus offer maximum transparency, control and security. Whether in the app or on the desktop, Webasto ChargeConnect is the key element that makes your Webasto Live your smart connected companion. Access to Webasto ChargeConnect is free of charge when purchasing a charging station from Webasto.

2. Personal data

Personal data is information that affects you. This includes, for example, but not conclusively, information such as your name, address, postal address, telephone number. Furthermore, when using Webasto ChargeConnect (via browser or via app), usage data is further logged, such as:

- IP address,

- the browser type and operating system of your PC,

- the website from which you are visiting us, and

- the date, time and websites you visit,

- username and password,

- Real names

- Wallbox installation site

- email address

- the serial number of your Webasto Wallbox

- End customer login data from the manufacturer of the vehicle

- Usernames

- Password

- Vehicle identification number (VIN)

- Vehicle Id

- Serial number of the RFID tag

Personal data is only collected by the companies of the Webasto Group if they are generated automatically during the usage process or if you provide it to us on your/her behalf, for example when filling out a registration form and /or when registering for personalized services. Your data entered in the form will only be stored for the following purposes:

- Self-registration of end customers to use Webasto ChargeConnect

- Provision of Webasto ChargeConnect services

- Registration for the newsletter and sending the newsletters,

- as well as for the analysis of anonymised user data for the purpose of extending and improving our services.

3. Purposes of processing and legal bases

3.1 In order to fulfil contractual obligations (Art. 6 sec. 1 lit.b GDPR)

The processing of your data is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 sec. 1 lit.b GDPR for the provision and execution of orders and orders in the context of the execution of our contracts with our customers and suppliers or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures that are carried out at your request. This includes, in particular, specific requests that we receive at events such as trade fairs. Furthermore, the legal basis is relevant for those processing operations that are necessary for us to provide you with our online offer.

The purposes of data processing are primarily based on the specific product and service and may include, among other things, needs analyses, consultations, purchase and plant contracts as well as regulatory requirements. The further details on the data processing purposes are detachable from the relevant contract documents and terms and conditions.

Irrespective of established contractual relationships as well as the interest in our services, you also enter into a user relationship with us by visiting our online offer. The processing of usage data by visiting our online offers is also legitimized by Art. 6 sec. 1 lit.b GDPR.

3.2 In the context of the balance of interests (Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. f GDPR)

If necessary, we process your data beyond the actual performance of the contract in order to safeguard legitimate interests of us or third parties. Due to the large number of theoretically conceivable processing contexts, the following points can only be understood as an excerpt of the most practical situations. We can provide more detailed information in the context of specific requests for information. This includes, in particular, but not conclusively,

- testing and optimising procedures for needs analysis for direct customer contact,

- advertising or market and opinion research insofar as you have not objected to the use of

your data,

- assertion of legal claims and defense in the event of legal disputes,

- Ensuring the IT security and operations of the company,

- prevention and investigation of criminal offences,

- measures for business management and further development of services and products,

- Risk management in the Webasto group of companies.

3.3 On the basis of your consent (Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. a GDPR)

Insofar as you have given us consent to the processing of personal data for specific purposes (e.B. advertising measures for non-customers or the use of photo shoots), the legality of this processing is given on the basis of this consent. Consent given can be revoked at any time. This also applies to the revocation of declarations of consent given to us before the GDPR, i.e. before 25 May 2018. The revocation of consent only works for the future and does not affect the legality of the data processed up to the revocation.

3.3 Due to legal requirements (Art. 6 sec. 1 lit.c GDPR)

In addition, as a company, we are subject to various legal obligations, i.e. legal requirements (e.g. .B. Money Laundering Act, tax laws and regulatory requirements). The purposes of the processing include, but are not only for creditworthiness verification, identity and age verification, fraud and money laundering prevention, compliance with tax control and reporting obligations, and the assessment and management of risks in the company.

4. Disclosure of personal data to third parties

We will transfer your data to other companies of the Webasto Group for general administrative purposes in accordance with Art.6 sec. 1 lit. f GDPR as well as to our authorized dealers and service, partners if this requires your request or the execution of the contract. If you request a dealer's offer through our website www.webasto-comfort.com, we will share the personal data you provide with the merchants you have selected.

In the context of a legitimate request for information or data deletion, Webasto can of course gladly support you by passing on the application additionally on your behalf to the service provider.

With regard to the transfer of data to recipients outside our company, it should first be noted that we only pass on necessary personal data in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations. In principle, we may only disclose personal data of our customers if this is required by law, if the data subject has consented or if we are otherwise authorised to disclose it. Under these conditions, recipients of personal data may be, for example:

- Subcontractors commissioned by Webasto for data processing based on Article 28 GDPR.

- public bodies and institutions (e.B. tax authorities, law enforcement authorities) in the event of a legal or administrative obligation,

- creditors or insolvency administrators who request in the context of enforcement, and

- Auditors.

The data is not disclosed to other third parties, unless you have expressly consented to this.

5. Duration of storage

We process and store your personal data as long as it is necessary for the fulfilment of our contractual and legal obligations.

If the data is no longer necessary for the fulfilment of contractual or legal obligations, these data are regularly deleted, unless their - temporary - further processing is required for the following purposes:

- Fulfilment of commercial and tax retention obligations,

- Preservation of evidence within the framework of the statutory limitation regulations.

6. Your rights

Your legal rights regarding the processing of your personal data are as follows:

- right of access to your stored data;

- right to rectification;

- right to erasure;

- right of objection;

- right to restrict processing;

- Right to data portability.

You can revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. In addition, there is a right of appeal to a competent data protection supervisory authority in Bavaria (Art. 77 GDPR).

If you no longer agree with the storage of your personal data or if it has become inaccurate, we will arrange for the deletion, correction or blocking of your data within the scope of the statutory provisions. Upon request, you will receive information free of charge about all personal data that we have stored about you. If you have any questions about the collection, processing or use of your personal data, for information, correction, blocking or deletion of data as well as for the use of other rights, please contact the Group Data Protection Officer of the Webasto Group (dataprotection@webasto.com) or write to the respective company of the Webasto Group.
